Scully’s home finale could see LA crowned on .TV
- Updated: September 25, 2016
For the final time in his 67-year career, Vin Scully will be behind the mic at Dodger Stadium. The legendary broadcaster, who is retiring after this season, will call his last Dodgers home game today as the club looks to clinch the National League West.
A win over the Rockies or a Giants loss to the Padres in San Diego will hand the Dodgers their fourth consecutive division title. Scully will then finish his career by calling LA’s three-game series at San Francisco next weekend.
Scully’s final game at Chavez Ravine is just one of many contests worth tuning in for today with a number of games featuring major playoff implications, including a pair of matchups between contenders: Cardinals at Cubs and Yankees at Blue Jays. Fans can catch all the action streaming live on MLB.TV.
MLB.TV Premium has returned with the same features as last year, and is only $3.99 for the rest of the season. This package has the best value and provides access to more than 400 devices and a free subscription to the MLB.com At Bat Premium app (a $19.99 value). It offers the best picture quality ever — a new 60 frames per second — for supported devices.

Southpaw Tyler Anderson will take the mound for the Rockies, while Dodgers right-hander Brandon McCarthy comes off the disabled list to take Rich Hill’s turn in the rotation. Hill was scratched from his scheduled start due to concerns about the blister that kept him out a month earlier this …
