‘Deeney deserves England call’

Troy Deeney is ready for an England call-up, says Walter Mazzarri, who is happy to advise Sam Allardyce should he call the Watford manager.
Watford have started the season well under Italian boss Mazzarri, winning two of their five Premier League matches so far, including a 3-1 victory over Manchester United last time out.
Deeney, who has scored two league goals in the campaign, has put his side’s success down to Mazzarri’s tough approach, and the former Inter Milan and Napoli manager believes the Watford captain’s improved physicality means he now warrants international recognition.
