Arenado joins ‘elite’ 3B club with 40th homer

LOS ANGELES — Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado became the third third baseman in history to have multiple 40-homer seasons before turning 26 when he went deep against the Dodgers’ Josh Fields in the sixth inning of Friday night’s 5-2 loss at Dodger Stadium.
Arenado’s homer, which cut the Dodgers’ lead to 4-1, also made him the fourth Rockies player to have multiple 40-homer seasons. He joined Andres …
