Barcelona Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Neymar and Douglas

A Spanish court has reopened a case regarding “alleged irregularities” of Neymar’s blockbuster transfer from Santos to Barcelona.
The Associated Press (via the Mail Online) reported Brazilian investment group DIS had made a claim against Neymar, the player’s father and former Blaugrana president Sandro Rosell—also citing former Santos president Odilio Rodrigues. The claim was initially rejected by a National Court judge, but prosecutors successfully overturned the decision on Friday.
Judge Angela Murillo Bordallo ruled that “there is still enough evidence to keep the case alive,” according to the Associated Press. The investment group was entitled to 40 percent of Neymar’s transfer fee received by his Brazilian team, but claim they were given “a smaller compensation than it should have because part of the transfer fee was concealed.”
Neymar has denied the claim, as have the other cited parties, per the Associated Press.
