Jack Kennedy taken to hospital
- Updated: September 23, 2016
Jockey Jack Kennedy was sent to hospital for precautionary X-rays to a suspected fracture to his right femur after a fall at Downpatrick.
Kennedy came to grief during the Scottish Borders Handicap Chase, in which he was riding Shane Billy.
Downpatrick course doctor Victoria McCandless confirmed that the jockey had been taken to Royal Victoria Hospital, in Belfast, to also rule out the possibility of any spinal damage.
