Canadian Promotion TKO MMA Releases Fighter Christ Franck for Falsifying Bouts on Record

Canadian promotion TKO MMA, which will hold its first event in more than eight years on Nov. 4, has terminated the contract of one of its fighters for faking bouts on his record.The organization announced on Thursday that Christ Franck has been released after creating four fake events — where he fought and won — to improve his record from 5-7 to 9-7. The promotion, entitled African Warriors Championship, was fabricated, while Franck’s four opponents had either been inactive or invented.
