NBA’s First Female Referee, Violet Palmer, Retires from On-Court Work

Violet Palmer, the NBA’s first female referee, retired from on-court work Thursday, according to Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck.
The 52-year-old, who spent 19 seasons as an on-court official, has been dealing with knee problems, according to Beck.
