Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Marcelo Brozovic and Bertrand Traore Rumours

Chelsea’s hopes of landing Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic have reportedly improved after the player was said to have fallen out with manager Frank De Boer. Meanwhile, Bertrand Traore has spoken of his decision to join Ajax on loan.
Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Sport Witness’ Lucas Sposito) reported the relationship between Brozovic and De Boer “isn’t any good,” encouraging talks of an exit from the San Siro.
Sposito also cited Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, which reported the Nerazzurri would be more open to selling their star to the likes of Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur rather than move him to a direct rival.
Brozovic was dropped for Inter’s recent 2-1 win over Juventus, and De Boer has since defended his decision to keep the Croatian player from his squad, per the club’s official Twitter account:
