Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score in Manchester United’s 3-1 win at Northampton Town on his EFL Cup debut on Wednesday to continue an extraordinary record.
The 18-year-old striker followed up his strike against Watford on Sunday with a goal and an assist for Jose Mourinho’s men, who ended a run of three straight defeats.
And that means the England international has now scored on his Europa League, Premier League, League Cup, England Senior and England U21 bows.
In fact, Rashford’s goal in the EFL Cup third-round clash at Sixfields means the youngster has only failed to find the back of the net on his FA Cup debut.
