Ptit Zig is in line to return to France in search of another valuable prize with his chasing career put on hold.
The Great Pretender gelding failed to win in France at the start of his career but made a successful return to mainland Europe at the end of his first season for Paul Nicholls.
Having finished third in the Fred Winter Juvenile Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival before winning at Sandown in April, he bettered those performances when finishing second to Diakali in a Grade One in June of 2014.
He reappeared at Auteuil in November of that year and duly landed the Grade One Prix Renaud du Vivier.
