Marshawn Lynch Comments on Colin Kaepernick, Police Violence

Former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch appeared on TBS’ Conan Tuesday night and spoke out in support of Colin Kaepernick’s silent protest during the national anthem. 

When asked what his thoughts were on Kaepernick’s decision to kneel for “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Lynch didn’t hesitate to endorse the quarterback’s actions. 

“With what’s going on, I’d rather see him take a knee than stand up, put his hands up and get murdered,” Lynch said, per the New York Daily News’ John Healy. “My take on it is, s–t, they got to start somewhere.
