Final octet for Nigeria 2016 emerge

The seven teams to join hosts Nigeria for the 2nd Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations emerged over the weekend after the completion of the qualifiers.
Ghana confirmed their place at the finals after a 7-1 victory over visiting Kenya on Sunday in Accra. The victory saw the Black Sharks come out tops of the tie 17-4 on aggregate, the biggest win in the qualifiers.
Leading striker for the Ghanaians, Richard Osai scored a hat-trick to take his tally to seven in both legs. Osai scored three goals in four minutes adding to a brace from Michael Sema. Kofi Aziz and Alexander Adjei were the other scorers for the Black Sharks with Madi Hassani grabbing a consolation for the visitors.
Ghana Assistant Coach, Theophilus Nii Armah in a post-match interview said a place at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in the Bahamas in 2017 remains their target.
