Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan suffered a thumb injury against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, and his status is currently unclear.

Trevathan Will Require Surgery on Thumb Tuesday, Sept. 20
Bears head coach John Fox announced Trevathan will need surgery, though it won’t be season-ending, according to the team.
Trevathan was among the Bears’ prized additions during the offseason, and he has rewarded them thus far with 15 tackles and a sack in the team’s first two games.
Chicago inked him to a four-year, $24.5 million contract on the heels of a season that saw him register 109 tackles and two interceptions, as well as a Super Bowl championship with the Denver Broncos.
