Ledley: Palace have to perform

Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley has urged the club’s fringe players to make the most of an opportunity against Southampton on Wednesday.
Alan Pardew has made it clear he intends to rotate his squad for the EFL Cup third round match at St Mary’s.
And Ledley says it is the perfect chance for a number of the squad’s fringe players to stake a claim for regular first-team football.
“It doesn’t matter who the gaffer puts out, you are going to represent Crystal Palace Football Club and you have to go and perform to the best possible standard that you can,” he said.
