‘Pep should apologise, not me’

Dimitri Seluk says he will not apologise to Pep Guardiola for the comments which have led to Yaya Toure’s exile at Manchester City.

Toure has been told he will not play unless Guardiola gets an apology for Seluk’s criticism of his decision to omit the player from City’s Champions League squad.

But that apology will not come from Seluk, who has accused Guardiola of behaving like “a king” on the back of seven straight wins at the start of his City career.

And Toure’s agent has gone further, telling Sky Sports News HQ it is the City boss who should be saying sorry – to predecessor Manuel Pellegrini and axed England goalkeeper Joe Hart.
