No late-night Chelsea talks

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich did not hold late-night emergency talks with club directors following the home defeat to Liverpool on Friday, according to Sky sources.
Reports in several national newspapers on Tuesday claimed Abramovich held an impromptu meeting with Chelsea officials until 1am, with head coach Antonio Conte said to be unhappy at the club’s failure to sign the players he wanted in the summer.
