Overturned call leads to Angels run

ARLINGTON — Rangers manager Jeff Banister was ejected from Monday’s game in the sixth inning after the Angels were successful in having a call overturned by replay.
The play occurred with one out when Yunel Escobar hit a line drive into the right-center gap that rolled to the wall and came to rest under the padding. Nomar Mazara chased it down and fumbled it once as he tried to pick up. He was successful the second time.
Escobar was coasting into second base, but then saw Mazara have trouble with the baseball. He tried to go to third base and was thrown out …
