O’s Pearce to have surgery for arm injury

BALTIMORE — Orioles infielder/outfielder Steve Pearce will undergo season-ending surgery on Wednesday in New York to repair the flexor tendons in his right throwing arm.
“He will probably go back to Tampa from there,” Orioles manager Buck Showalter said of Pearce, who has dealt with the issue on and off all season.
