Josh McCown Injury Update: Browns QB Ruled Out in Week 3 vs. Dolphins

Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown will miss Week 3 and possibly more with a shoulder injury.
Head coach Hue Jackson announced the news Monday, according to Tony Grossi of ESPN 850. Jackson named Cody Kessler as the likely Week 3 starter, per the team’s official Twitter account.
McCown was already filling in for injured starter Robert Griffin III, but the team will now have to look toward its third option in as many games.
The veteran quarterback had an up-and-down game in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens, passing for 260 yards with two touchdowns but also two interceptions in the 25-20 loss. The defeat was even more embarrassing considering Cleveland had a 20-0 lead in the first quarter.
