Danny Woodhead Injury Update: Chargers RB Diagnosed with Torn ACL

Danny Woodhead tore his ACL in the San Diego Chargers’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday and was placed on injured reserve, the Chargers announced on Monday.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network was first to announce the news.
Woodhead, 31, rushed for 116 yards on 19 carries and caught six passes for 35 yards and a score in the team’s first two games and looked as though he would once again be a crucial playmaker in the offense.
Woodhead now becomes the team’s second skill-position player on offense to tear an ACL. In Week 1, top wideout Keenan Allen also tore his ACL, which …
