NFL Power Rankings: Breaking Down Sunday’s Action Ahead of Week 3

It’s no surprise to see the Cleveland Browns still holding on strong to the last-place spot in the power rankings after blowing a 20-point lead at home to the Baltimore Ravens. While it can be argued the Browns looked considerably better with Josh McCown at the helm of the offense Sunday, the Browns still couldn’t close out what should’ve been a comfortable win.

Heading into Monday night’s matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chicago Bears, every other team has played its second game of the season. Here are my power rankings after Sunday’s games.

It’s no overstatement to say Jimmy Garoppolo looked incredible in the first 25 minutes of game action for the Patriots against the Miami Dolphins. He completed 18 of 27 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Patriots to a commanding 21-0 lead in the second quarter.
