Kirk Cousins’ Play Has Reportedly Caused Multiple Washington Players to Complain

Washington may have bigger issues than an 0-2 record after the first two weeks of the 2016 NFL season.
The defending NFC East champion lost its opening two games of the year, and Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk cited a source on Sunday who said “multiple offensive players have begun to complain about quarterback Kirk Cousins, pointing to a lack of decisiveness, erratic play and confusion.”
Florio noted a source said “At least he’d play with poise” when asked if the players who were complaining would prefer backup quarterback Colt McCoy under center instead of Cousins.
McCoy has appeared in 35 games in his career since entering the league in 2010 and posted 26 touchdowns to 23 interceptions, so it’s not as if he has an unassailable resume to spark further debate.
