Michael Johnson had a surprise for those who doubted him. The Blackzilians standout aced his latest test and snapped a two-fight losing streak, as he flattened Dustin Poirier in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 94 main event on Saturday at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. Johnson cut down Poirier with punches 95 seconds into round one. His walk to the Octagon lasted longer.Johnson opted to go with Nina Simone’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Maad City” for his entrance music. Poirier, meanwhile, strolled to the Octagon to Kevin Gates’ “I Don’t Get Tired” before being buried under a crushing volley of Johnson punches in less than two minutes.
