Simpson praises Foxes’ Slimani

Leicester defender Danny Simpson insists record signing Islam Slimani is prepared to get his hands dirty despite his huge price tag.
The £29m forward scored twice on his Premier League debut as the Foxes beat Burnley 3-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday to stretch the champions’ unbeaten home record to 19 games.
It was just the 28-year-old’s second appearance for the club after joining from Sporting Lisbon on Deadline Day and Simpson has been impressed by his work ethic.
“He has done well, Riyad [Mahrez] is here and knows him from Algeria but he is integrating in the team really well,” Simpson said. “He works his socks off and that’s what we’re about. That’s why it’s been easy for him to slot in.
