UNICEF and CAF team up to protect children’s rights in Cameroon

Yaoundé, 16 September 2016- UNICEF Cameroon and the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) are pleased to announce their partnership for the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations. This event will help send out strong messages for protection of children’s rights in Cameroon.
This innovative partnership aims at attracting the national and international community’s attention on key issues related to children in Cameroon. Notably, it will enable CAF and UNICEF to launch a joint campaign for the respect of children’s rights in Cameroon and to send out messages during CAN events, to involve players in fostering advocacy for children and to launch fundraising activities for UNICEF in Cameroon.
