Phelan analysing Hull offer

Mike Phelan is analysing Hull’s contract offer as the interim manager edges closer to taking the job on a permanent basis.
Steve Bruce, the club’s most successful ever manager, walked away during the summer amid uncertainty surrounding Hull, with fans protesting against the Allam regime as the side started the Premier League campaign with just 13 fit first-team players.
However, Phelan has overseen a largely positive start to the season, winning August’s manager of the month award in the process and, despite the club still being in takeover talks, was offered the job on a full-time basis in the build-up to Saturday’s defeat to Arsenal.
