Ligue 1: Lemar strikes again

Thomas Lemar fired a late double as Monaco moved three points clear of Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1 with a 3-0 win against Rennes.
Midfielder Lemar followed up his Champions League goal in Monaco’s 2-1 midweek win at Tottenham with two more in the closing stages against Rennes after Falcao had set them on their way in the first half.
Colombia international Falcao headed Monaco into a 42nd-minute lead and Lemar struck in the 90th minute before adding his second in time added on.
PSG had drawn level on points with Monaco and Nice on Friday night following their 6-0 thrashing of Caen. Nice play at Montpellier on Sunday.
