In Gee Chun captured sole possession of the lead at the 2016 Evian Championship on Friday, and she maintained a hold on the top spot with a 65 on Saturday to push her cumulative three-day total to 19 under par. 

Sung Hyun Park, who was in hot pursuit of Chun on Friday, continued to hang right with the world No. 8 and will have a shot at spoiling her championship aspirations on Sunday after she fired home a 67 to move to 15 under par for the tournament.

After Chun posted 14 birdies in Rounds 1 and 2 combined, it was no surprise to see the South Korean star come out and fire home three birdies over the course of her first eight holes Saturday. However, Chun—who made a single bogey during her first two rounds—encountered an uncharacteristic slip-up on No. 9 when she carded a double bogey that dropped her to one under for the round. 

But in resilient fashion, she wasn’t fazed by the sloppy close to an otherwise sterling front nine.
