Prospect Crawford undergoes left knee surgery

PHILADELPHIA — Top Phillies prospect J.P. Crawford underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Wednesday to remove a “loose body.” The team said Crawford will rest for the next four weeks but will otherwise have a normal offseason.
Crawford is expected to be ready to compete by the beginning of Spring Training.
