Tampa Bay Rays vice president of baseball operations Chaim Bloom is among the candidates to take over the Minnesota Twins’ leadership position, sources told FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal on Friday. Neither club has confirmed the report.
Bloom has worked in the Rays’ organization since joining the club as an intern in 2005 before being promoted to a baseball operations assistant near the end of the season. He served as the organization’s assistant director of Minor League operations in 2008.
