Greg Roman Reportedly Fired by Bills: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

After a 0-2 start following Thursday’s loss against the New York Jets, the Buffalo Bills are reportedly firing offensive coordinator Greg Roman.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Roman’s firing, adding the Bills will promote assistant head coach and running backs coach Anthony Lynn to be their new offensive coordinator.
The Bills confirmed Roman’s departure and Lynn’s promotion through their official Twitter account.
Roman took over as Bills offensive coordinator in January 2015 after serving the same role the previous four years with the San Francisco 49ers.
The move is interesting on the Bills’ part, both for the timing and that they are just coming off a game in which the offense put up 393 total yards and scored 24 of the team’s 31 points—the Bills scored one defensive touchdown on a fumble return.
