Ireland – Griffith Swords Thunder Preview

JustinGoldsborough Griffith Swords Thunder have been very busy this off season preparing for only their third season in Irish Superleague basketball. After experiencing success coming runners up in their first league season and then last year reaching the national cup finals they sights are firmly set on silverware. In only it’s forth season the partnership with Griffith College and Swords Basketball club is growing from strength to strength and with both college and Superleague teams being at the top of their game they are both under the coaching stewardship of Dave Baker who is looking forward to the season ahead. We’re delighted to have Superleague basketball in Swords and it’s slowly but surely becoming more popular and this is in no doubt due to the success we have experienced in such a short time I mean so many of the other clubs are celebrating their 20th-50th anniversaries where we are only playing national men’s competition since 2010.
