Phelan still unsure on future

Hull interim manager Mike Phelan admits he is still waiting to hear if he will be offered the job on a permanent basis.
The club are eighth in the Premier League table going into Saturday’s game at home to Arsenal, with Phelan guiding them to seven points from their opening four top-flight fixtures.
Only a stoppage-time Marcus Rashford winner as Manchester United won 1-0 at the KCOM Stadium on August 27 prevents them from boasting an unbeaten start to the season.
But with a new consortium having entered the bidding to take over Hull this week, Phelan remains in limbo while the future of the club is resolved.
