Moyes: Time to prove ourselves

Sunderland manager David Moyes has challenged his players to prove they are not just Premier League relegation fodder.
The Wearside outfit are ahead of the Premier League’s bottom side Stoke only on goal difference after failing to win any of their first four games.
Having just stayed up in each of the last four seasons, Moyes wants a squad he has already said are in a fight against the drop to show they can be competitive.
Moyes said: “I’m certainly up for the challenge – that’s what I came for. When I wanted to come back in, I wanted somewhere that excited me.
“I’d like to say this was really exciting, but maybe not in the way I hoped! There has to be a realistic element to this. There is a building job and we are up against it, undoubtedly.
