Carra meets – and races – Mane

Jamie Carragher met Sadio Mane to chat about his start to life at Liverpool and challenged the forward to a race, ahead of the Reds’ trip to Chelsea on Friday Night Football.
Mane joined Liverpool on a five-year contract following his £34m move from Southampton during the summer transfer window, making him the club’s second highest signing behind Andy Carroll.
But Mane has made a better start to life at Anfield than the current West Ham striker, playing in three of Liverpool’s four Premier League games, with Jurgen Klopp’s side losing the only one in which Mane feature, against Burnley.
The Reds are on the road again this Friday as they visit Stamford Bridge to face Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, live on Sky Sports, and former Liverpool defender Carragher was on hand for a chat with Mane ahead of the clash…
Carra: You have started your Liverpool career magnificently well, you haven’t lost a game when you’ve been playing. Is this going to continue on Friday?
Mane: Friday we have a massive game because Chelsea are one of the big clubs, but I think we also have a good team this season with great players and we have a good manager. I think we will be ready for the game.
