Haniger, Jensen making most of opportunities

PHOENIX — Mitch Haniger and Kyle Jensen both spent time earlier this year mashing for Triple-A Reno. They each earned promotions to the D-backs for the final month of the season. And together, just as they did in Reno, the pair of outfielders are coming through with some big hits.
Jensen and Haniger both homered in Arizona’s 7-3 win in the series opener against the Dodgers on Thursday night at Chase Field. Jensen drove in the game’s first run with a solo shot off Los Angeles starter Rich Hill, while Haniger later followed with a big three-run blast of his own.
