Your Guide to the Borgata for PokerNews Cup
- Updated: September 15, 2016
The first-ever PokerNews Cup in North America is right around the corner, taking place Sept. 20-21 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
The first day of action kicks off at 4 p.m., when players will be competing for a mountain of cash thanks to the $2,150 buy in and the ability for players to reenter while late registration is open. Surviving players will return the following day at 12 p.m., when an eventual winner will be crowned and history will be made.
A big turnout is expected for this event in no small part due to it taking place during the heart of the 2016 Borgata Poker Open. The poker festival, which has been running since Sept. 6, has been a huge success thus far by drawing in players from around the United States to Atlantic City, New Jersey, for tons of hot poker action and more.
Last Two Chances to Qualify for the PokerNews Cup
If you want to be part of history, but the $2,150 buy in is a bit steep for your bankroll, you still have two chances to qualify for the PokerNews Cup for just a fraction of the cost. Earn your seat through qualifiers on New Jersey’s hottest regulated online poker room, BorgataPoker.com.
To get involved, be sure to mark Sept. 18 at 6:15 p.m. and Sept. 19 at 7:45 p.m. on your calendars, when for just a $240 buy in, you have a one in 10 chance of securing a seat to the PokerNews Cup.
