WBA orders Gennady Golovkin to meet Daniel Jacobs next

It looks like Triple G will not be fighting Canelo Alvarez (obviously), or even Billy Joe Saunders next. After the events of last weekend in boxing’s middleweight division, the WBA has ordered Gennady Golovkin to face off with Daniel Jacobs next, in what is being called a mandatory bout. The news was reported by ESPN.
Jacobs (32-1, 29 KO) is the WBA regular middleweight champion. Golovkin (36-0, 33 KO) is the WBA (Super) middleweight champion. Triple G also holds the …
