Ocon chasing Q2 showing

Manor can “expect” to be in Q2 at this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix; that’s according to rookie racer Esteban Ocon.
Since making his Formula 1 debut at the Belgian Grand Prix, Ocon’s best showing in qualifying was his P18 at Spa.
However, that race saw his team-mate Pascal Wehrlein qualify in 16th place, which he followed up with a P14 at the next grand prix at Monza.
This weekend Ocon is hoping to join his team-mate inside the top 16 as he looks for a good start and the possibility of points.
“I think we’ve shown that when everything goes our way, we can expect to be in Q2,” he said.
