The reigning world champions, the U.S. women’s national team, are back in action on Thursday as they face Thailand at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
The United States arrive off the back of a disappointing campaign at the 2016 Olympic Games to host the newcomers to the world stage from Asia.
The game will be the last appearance for legendary USWNT midfielder Heather O’Reilly, who is bowing out of the international arena.

The Thai collective were beaten by Norway and Germany at the competition, losing 4-0 to both nations, but tasted success as they defeated the Ivory Coast.
