Dustin Poirier is not too far away from a lightweight title shot, but “The Diamond” previously spent his time contending at featherweight. In April 2014, he took on Sweden’s Akira Corassani in the main card opener for the TUF Nations Finale in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Poirier and Corassani had one hell of an opening round, but Dustin took control int he 2nd and finished off Corassani with a beautiful combination of punches.
