Motiejunas Considering Turning Down 1-Year Tender Wednesday, Sept. 14

On Wednesday, Motiejunas’ agent, B.J. Armstrong, discussed his side’s frustration with Houston’s negotiating tactics.

“They haven’t made us a serious offer,” Armstrong said, per ESPN.com’s Calvin Watkins. “Our moment of truth will be Oct. 1. We’ll make a decision on that day.”

Armstrong added that he and Motiejunas haven’t made any final decisions, but the Rockets power forward is at least weighing whether or not he’d sign the $3.4 million tender if Houston doesn’t put another deal on the table.
