Blake Comeau: 2015-16 Season In Review

Longtime NHL forward Blake Comeau made his presence felt in his first season with the Colorado Avalanche.
Comeau played a critical role in the team’s bottom six and was a trusty winger during penalty-kill situations. He also hit a couple milestones in 2015-16.
The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, native registered his 100th career goal on March 28 at the Nashville Predators and earned third star of the game honors after also contributing an assist, five shots and winning 69 percent of his faceoffs (11-of-16) in the Avalanche victory.
Comeau finished his first season in Colorado with 12 goals and a career-high 24 assists. He also tied for the team lead with two short-handed goals and ranked third with 173 hits.
His first shorty on Nov. 14 at Montreal was also his first tally with the Avs. It ended up being a night of achievements for the 30-year-old as the goal marked his 200th point in the league, …
