O’s hosting Jays next year on Opening Day

In the 25th anniversary season of Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the Orioles will open their 2017 slate at home. The club will host the Blue Jays on April 3 in their season opener.
After the Orioles had four rainouts before the All-Star break this season, two of which came at home, their 2017 schedule offers plenty of off-days for potential makeup games in April. The season-opening two-game series is played in a four-day span, and Baltimore has five scheduled off-days within the first month.
