Judge strains oblique, season reportedly over

NEW YORK — Yankees rookie Aaron Judge was removed from Tuesday night’s 3-0 win against the Dodgers after the fourth inning with a right oblique strain and the remainder of his season appears to be in jeopardy.

Outfielder Mason Williams was to be called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Sweeny Murti of WFAN Radio reported Wednesday morning, adding that Judge is likely finished for the season. The Yankees have not commented on or confirmed the report.

The 24-year-old Judge was batting with two on and two outs when he winced while swinging at a 2-0 changeup.
