Stephen Curry Says He Will ‘Most Likely’ Stand for National Anthem

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry supports the message San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has attempted to send by protesting during the national anthem, but the two-time reigning NBA MVP doesn’t intend to follow suit by taking a knee.
According to Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News, Curry said the following Tuesday night as a guest speaker at the TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco:
I’ll most likely stand. Colin, if you follow the way he talks, the message he’s trying to send with his act, he’s not, from his mouth, disrespecting the veterans or the military. That’s not his intention. He’s obviously continued the act to create the conversation for more social justice and things of that nature.
