It’s been well over a year since Jordan Mein was stopped by a vicious Thiago Alves body kick at UFC 183. Just months after his defeat, the Canadian welterweight announced his retirement from the sport, citing (per Ariel Helwani) that he was “burnt out” and “lost that fire” to compete.
Fast forward to today, and the 26-year-old is apparently ready to step in the Octagon once again. After Bas Rutten had stated on the Joe Rogan Experience that Mein was making his comeback, Jordan’s father, Lee Mein, confirmed the story to MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani.
