Darrelle Revis Comments on Performance vs. AJ Green, Bengals

New York Jets All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis’ 2016 season got off on the wrong foot after being burnt multiple times by Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver AJ Green during an opening 23-22 loss on Sunday.
On Tuesday, he broke his silence about his difficulties covering the Bengals’ elite receiver, via ESPN.com’s Rich Cimini:
Most of the plays, I was right there. On the busted coverage (for a 54-yard TD), I’m supposed to get help. But at the same time, it is what it is. Like I said, I can take a punch. They’re gonna catch balls. It’s not like I never got a ball caught on me. In that instance, it’s just small technique things. There’s no game you come out of playing a perfect game. As easy as some people make it look it seem, it is what it is. You bounce back.
Green torched the Jets defense, recording 12 receptions for 180 yards and a touchdown on the day. …
