Capitals Players To Take Over Nando’s PERi-PERi Saturday, Sept. 17, to Benefit MSE Foundation

ARLINGTON, Va. – Washington Capitals players Andre Burakovsky, Lars Eller, Stanislav Galiev, Nate Schmidt and Tom Wilson will “take over” the new Nando’s PERi-PERi in Arlington, Va., on Saturday, Sept. 17, from noon to 7 p.m,. All sales within the 11 a.m.-9 p.m. time frame that day will benefit Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation. Burakovsky, Eller, Galiev, Schmidt and Wilson will grill chicken, shadow employees and greet guests, help take orders at cash registers and deliver food to tables. Additional participants include Capitals alumnus Paul Mulvey, PA Announcer Wes Johnson, Red Rockers and mascot Slapshot, Elliot in the Morning Show host Elliot Segal, CSN Mid-Atlantic’s Capitals analyst and Caps alumnus Craig Laughlin and CSN Mid-Atlantic’s Capitals contributor Courtney Laughlin. Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation supports the charitable efforts of the professional teams under its umbrella: the Washington Capitals, Mystics, Valor and Wizards.
