Rodgers: Miss was turning point

Brendan Rodgers believes Celtic’s missed penalty as they trailed by a goal in their 7-0 defeat to Barcelona was a turning point.
The Scottish champions were thrashed at the Nou Camp but could have drawn level after Moussa Dembele was fouled following Lionel Messi’s opener.
Dembele took the kick himself but it was a weak effort and goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen saved it comfortably, with Barcelona then pulling clear with aplomb in the second half.
Rodgers felt things might have worked out differently had Dembele scored and said: “Moussa was happy to accept the responsibility and the keeper read it and made a good save. I credit the goalkeeper.
